Job Description

Seeking a skilled individual to optimize our production process as a Press Brake Operator. As a family-owned manufacturer specializing in industrial pumps and energy solutions, we take pride in delivering top-notch products globally. Based at our Vancouver headquarters and new facility in Houston, we're dedicated to excellence.

Your primary responsibility will be efficiently producing accurately bent steel parts for our fabrication and assembly department. Operating the Bystronic Xpert 250 ton press brake, you'll handle a range of steel thicknesses and ensure precise angles. Your expertise in manual tooling press brake operation is crucial, as you transform raw steel into components with precision.

Collaborating with the Fabrication Supervisor, you'll contribute to maintaining a streamlined and cost-effective in-house fabrication process. Your duties include adjusting and calibrating the press brake, changing tooling/dies, and collaborating with QA to create assembly documentation.

Responsibilities:

Operate Bystronic Xpert 250 ton press brake.
Bend steel parts from 18-gauge to 1/2-inch thickness.
Change press brake tooling/dies and calibrate adjustments.
Manually set and operate press brake as needed.
Restock materials and report any issues to management.
Ensure uniformity by measuring final products precisely.
Collaborate with QA to create assembly documentation.
Maintain a safe work environment.
Qualifications:

1+ year of press brake operation experience.
High school diploma / GED or equivalent job experience.
Understanding of weld prints and callouts.
Proficient in Excel for maintaining complex spreadsheets.
