Schedule: Mon–Fri | 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM
Pay: $25–$30+/hr DOE
Salem, OR.

What You’ll Do
The Fitter Fabricator will construct, position, align, fit, and assemble machine or mechanical parts of metal products in accordance with company specifications.
Responsibilities
• Fit and fabricate large grinding, sizing, and material handling equipment
• Maintain tight tolerances without the use of fixtures
• Safely move materials using overhead cranes, jib cranes, and forklifts as needed
• Perform hard wire and flux core welding
• Apply welding expertise and best practices across varying conditions and requirements
Must-Have Qualifications
• 5+ years of industrial welding experience
• Able to operate forklifts safely and knowledgeable in rigging and lifting large equipment in tight spaces
• Experience operating overhead and jib cranes
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and shop prints
• Able to select appropriate welding wire and machine parameters for optimal weld strength and efficiency
• Able to maintain tolerances for fabricated assemblies and inspect parts
• Proficient with hand tools, including grinders
• Must have basic tools required for the job
• Basic math skills (fractions) for fabrication tasks
• Basic computer skills for accurate time entry
