Job Title: Administrative Assistant for Warranty Department
Job Status: Non-Exempt – Hourly
Benefits: Quality Health Insurance, Voluntary Dental/STD/LTD/Life available, $25,000 Life Insurance policy, review following 90 days.
Wage: 18-22/hour
Duration: 6 months with the potential of permanent placement
Location: Ridgefield
Schedule: 8 hours, flexible
 
Position Summary
The Warranty Scheduler is to provide support to the Field Service Manager with scheduling the home warranty appointments, as well as additional clerical support, as needed by the Field Service Manager.

Essential Duties include (but are not limited to)
  • Provide excellent customer service to homeowners, builder contacts and our inside sales representatives for service scheduling & ordering parts via phone calls, text and email
  • Process and schedule warranty work orders that are received
  • Monitor internal work orders for specific jobs for completion and scheduling, where applicable
  • Receive date change notifications and confirmations
  • Communicate with builders with regarding completed work orders, as well as any other issues that may arise
  • Monitor warranty email and respond accordingly  
  • Cross-Train for Installation Scheduling for coverage as needed
  • Monitor & report key schedule accuracy metrics for Customers and Field techs to appropriate manager
  • Collect and communicate job information warranty technicians
  • Work as a team-player with all employees
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:
  • Minimum 1-year Scheduling Experience Required
  • Knowledge of Outlook and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Self-motivated person able to maintain their level and quality while working autonomously, able to prioritize work and meet deadlines
  • Excellent computer skills including experience working with spreadsheets and formulas, databases, web applications, and word processing
  • Able to sit for extended periods of time
  • 10-key and 45 WPM typing skills
  • Able to accept constructive feedback
