Warehouse Worker – Salem, OR
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM
Pay: $19–$20/hr DOE
About Us:
We’re a locally rooted manufacturing company specializing in engineering and building heavy-duty industrial grinders, shredders, hammermills, screens, and systems. We take pride in our work and are looking for reliable shop help to join our shipping and receiving team.
What You’ll Do:
As a Warehouse Worker, you’ll support the shipping and receiving department by handling warehouse materials, processing orders, and assisting with inventory.
Key Responsibilities:

Receive parts from vendors and verify quantity, description, and part numbers

Accurately process materials and resolve receiving issues

Ship parcels, pallets, and occasional LTL loads
-
Learn and support international shipping documentation
-
Prioritize urgent customer shipments
-
Operate forklifts safely to move and store materials
-
Pick parts for manufacturing BOMs, using drawings and packing lists
-
Enter data into the ERP system accurately

Maintain organized storage systems
-
Build small pallets and crates as needed (basic carpentry)

What We’re Looking For:

Forklift operation experience and strong safety awareness
-
Good organizational skills and time management
-
Ability to lift/move heavy objects regularly
-
Able to read blueprints and fabrication/shop prints
-
Comfortable working independently and as part of a team
-
Positive attitude, adaptability, and reliability
-
Experience using hand tools (e.g., grinders)
-
Basic math and computer skills for ERP and time entry
-
Basic carpentry skills for crate/pallet building
