Mon - Fri 7am-3:30pm
Who We Are:
Local Manufacturing company is looking to add an Inventory/Receiving put away person to their team! This company builds pumps for commercial and industrial use!
What You’ ll Do:
The primary responsibilities include pulling small parts for sales orders, packaging all orders, and preparing shipments using PC software. Additionally, the role involves preparing small finished goods from the production floor for shipment.
Responsibilities:
• Operate industrial forklift
• Pulls and stages orders for shipment.
• Fill and transact work orders, purchase orders and sales orders.
• Perform cycle counts.
• Replenish flow line materials and receive completed devices.
• Examine and inspect stock items for wear or defects, reporting any damage to supervisors.
• Keep records on the use and/or damage of stock or stock handling equipment.
• Transact inventory movements using inventory control system.
• Ensure FIFO is followed
• Monitors equipment or processes and reports problems to supervisor.
• Unload items to be stocked in warehouses
• Verify inventory computations by comparing them to physical counts of stock and investigate discrepancies or adjust errors.
• Perform domestic and international shipping activities.
• Package and stock finished goods items.
What You Need to Have:
- 1+ year of forklift experience
- 1+ year of warehousing experience
- RF Scanner experience
- Basic computer skills
- Any ERP software experience
- Ability to lift at least 50lbs
- Detail orientation
- Positive attitude
- Team player mentality
- Drive to make a career for themselves
