$20-$24/hr.+ Depending on experience
Mon - Fri 7am-3:30pm
Who We Are:
Local Manufacturing company is looking to add an Inventory/Receiving put away person to their team! This company builds pumps for commercial and industrial use!
What You’ ll Do:
As a Warehouse Receiver, you will be responsible for verifying incoming deliveries, unloading trucks, ensuring proper storage of items, and processing returns. This role requires keen attention to detail when inspecting shipments, maintaining efficient receiving processes, and promptly resolving any discrepancies or issues.
Responsibilities:
- Compare purchase orders with invoices and packing lists to ensure accuracy.
- Inspect deliveries to confirm they meet order and invoice criteria.
- Receive, sign for, and unload shipments using a forklift.
- Process returns for incorrect or unsatisfactory items.
- Organize and store received items in designated areas.
- Update inventory records with newly received items.
- Communicate with vendors regarding delays or discrepancies.
- Maintain accurate records of orders, deliveries, and inventory transactions.
- Conduct cycle counts to verify inventory accuracy.
- Inspect stock items for wear or defects and report any damage to supervisors.
- Track stock usage and report any damage to stock or handling equipment.
- Follow standard operating procedures to maintain efficiency.
- Process inventory transactions using the inventory control system.
- Monitor equipment and processes, reporting any issues to supervisors.
- Keep the work area clean, safe, and organized.
- Unload and transport items for storage in warehouses or storage yards.
- Verify inventory counts by comparing them to physical stock and investigate discrepancies.
- Perform domestic and international shipping activities.
- Package and stock finished goods.

What You Need to Have:
- 2+ year of forklift experience unloading trucks
- 2+ years of receiving experience
- Any ERP software experience
- Detail orientation
- Positive attitude
- Team player mentality
- Drive to make a career for themselves
