OPTI STAFFING GROUP IS HIRING!
Job Title: Valve TechnicianÂ
Location: South Seattle, WAÂ
Position Overview:
We’re looking for a hands-on Valve Technician to join our team! You’ll perform maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on a variety of valves and actuators, including Block Valves, PSV/SRV, pneumatic, and electric actuators. This role requires a mechanical mindset and the ability to work independently and with customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Disassemble, inspect, clean, repair, and reassemble valves and actuators in both workshop and on-site settings.Â
- Collaborate with customers and colleagues to troubleshoot, assess, and repair valves and actuators.Â
- Read and interpret schematics to guide assembly, repair, and reassembly processes, ensuring accurate documentation is completed (either paper or electronic).Â
- Perform testing and quality control checks on valves and actuators, ensuring optimal performance.
Requirements & Qualifications:
- 0-3 years of related experience (mechanical experience preferred).Â
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.Â
- Ability to effectively communicate and work with a diverse team and customers.Â
Desired Skills:
- Experience in the oil and gas industry or with valve systems and prime movers.Â
- Analytical skills to troubleshoot and diagnose complex issues.Â
- Eagerness to learn and develop skills beyond your current expertise.Â
- Forklift certified or the ability to obtain certification.Â
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and the ability to use web-based service literature.Â

- Work Schedule: Mon-Fri, 6:00 am – 2:30 pm (Overtime during busy seasons)Â

- Initial alcohol and drug test required, and adherence to all company policies.
