Utility Worker.

6:00 AM to 2:30 PM, Monday to Friday


$22 - $26 per hour


The Fabrication Assistant will help the Shop Lead and Inventory Coordinator with pick up parts, delivery, warehousing, and minor fabrication, such as soldering, threading pipe pulling wires, and or welding

Requirements:
 
  • Assist the Fabrication Lead Laborer in daily maintenance and cleanup of the Assembly and fabrication area (break down/take away packaging/crates).
  • Make routine pickups and deliveries to and from vendors for inventory and non-inventory items as needed.
  • Assist the Fabrication Lead Laborer in the masking & painting.
  • Count and Organize receipt of raw material from outside vendors.
  • Assist the Shop Technicians in the hydrostatic testing and the final shipping preparations of packaged systems.
  • Assemble small to mid-size sub-assemblies to help in the fabrication of custom packages.
  • Work with the Controls/Start-Up Technician in laying out, bending conduit, and running wire for
               small to mid-size projects.
  • Assist the Inventory Coordinator in coordinating cycle counts and inventory counts as they apply to the Fabrication Warehouse.
  • Set up workstation and verify parts/quantity for the project to start.

Administrative
  • Fill in and add/delete stock take items.
  • Fill out and describe complete test reports for package systems.


Technical
  • Have the Mechanical Amplitude with wrenches and screwdrivers.
