Union Fabrication Position

should be able to bend, twist, push, pull, and lift up to 50 pounds and more with a team lift
Forklift experience preferred but either way we train with our classes
Should understand square footage
can read a tape measure
works well with others
previous fabrication setting and/or warehouse experience preferred
Shop is making items to order on several different saws and sheers
- prepared to be safe at all times
- pick up before and after shift to maintain clean environment
- be able to stop one project to work on emergency projects
- accuracy is important and speed will come with time. Looking for someone who can work with a deadline
Attendance is a high priority.
- Looking for someone who wants to be here every day
Steel toed boots required
Customer service oriented
High-Vis apparel will be provided
- while temping please wear pants ok to be dirty. T-shirt, safety glasses, and vest will be provided. Must be worn while on the floor.
- when hired for permanent position full Cintas washed uniform will be provided
Hours 7:00am - 3:30 M-F (occasional overtime on Saturdays or staying late)
Teamsters Union & benefits
Starting pay is $19.62 an hour. 70% of the max $28.02. Hours accumulated help reach the max pay. Typically, in 6 months for the next increase and then one year for full pay.
