JOB SUMMARY:
Opti Staffing Group is hiring for a seasonal full-time Two Way Radio Technician with tower climbing experience in an Alaskan Native owned corporation. The technician will be responsible for installing, operating, and maintaining voice and data telecommunications network circuits and equipment under the supervision of the Project Manager or General Manager. The position is expected to work from May to August.
WHAT YOU’LL DO:
The essential duties and responsibilities of the Two Way Radio Technician include repairing two-way radio communication systems and configuring and designing systems to meet customer needs.

WHAT YOU NEED TO HAVE:
The minimum qualifications for the position include a high school diploma or equivalent, five years of tower climbing experience, and RF experience. The ideal candidate should also possess general knowledge of computers and using monitors, meters, and heavy-duty equipment, demonstrated ability to use soldering equipment, service monitors, watt meters, bucket trucks, and forklifts, and the ability to interact professionally with other employees, customers, and suppliers
