Location: Tigard, Oregon
Compensation: $25+/hr. DOE
Monday-Thursday 7:30am-5pm
      or
Monday-Friday 6am-9am (Start time can be decided)

Who We Are:
Local Manufacturing company is looking to add an APÂ to their team! This company was founded in 1997 dedicated to producing plastic parts and components for high-technology companies.
What You’ll Do:
The Tool Crib Attendant is responsible for providing procurement, set-up, maintenance, and reporting details for all tools and fixtures in support of Machine Shop functions.
Responsibilities:Â
- Â Reviews MRP and related work schedulesÂ
- Issues, receives, and stores tools and fixtures in support of Machinists and Operators
- Keeps inventory of all tools and requests purchases of cutting tools, inserts and shop supplies as necessary.
- Delivery to the shop floor.
- Receives, unpacks, and stores incoming tools and fixtures.Â
- Able to ensure fixtures and tools are checked in and out of tool crib and maintains an accurate record system.Â
- Prepares kits and presets tools to help improve standardization
- Re-sharpen cutting tools
- Provide monthly report – top tools, high users, monthly expense and total tool inventory.
- Continued education and training including, but not limited to: Â ISO 9001, safety, blueprint reading, teamwork, and Statistical Process Control.
What you need have:
- Understanding of CNC machine setup, tool identification and machine fixturing
- Knowledge of Mills, Routers, Lathes and general machine shop practices.Â
- Previous experience using precision tools such as calipers and micrometers.
- Working knowledge and understanding of cutting tools, tool holder assembly, insets geometry’ and grades
- Experience with tool setters (Speroni)
- Familiar with shop MRP/inventory systems.
- Good computer skills and ability to query, monitor, and input MRP system data.
- Must be able to read and interpret engineered drawings in decimal and fractional inch units.
- Ability to read and interpret Bill of Materials.
- Able to maintain non-durable and inspect tooling.
- Able to maintain and inspect functional tooling.
- 2-3+yrs of machining experience
