Opening: Tire Technician (Seasonal Hire W/ Overtime)
City: Anchorage, AK
WHO THEY ARE:
A local automotive repair and service shop is seeking an additional three team members across their three locations to assist in the spring/summer tire change over season.
WHAT YOU’LL DO:

$16.00 - $18.00
Plenty of overtime – 6 days a week 8-12 hours per day!
Fun, fast-paced environment
Possibility of permanent placement at end of season based on performance and company needs.

WHO THEY ARE:
A local automotive repair and service shop is seeking an additional three team members across their three locations to assist in the spring/summer tire change over season.
WHAT YOU’LL DO:
- Seals puncture in tubeless tire by inserting adhesive material and expanding rubber plug into puncture;
- Pull tire order and load by hand, tires vary in weight from 35 lbs. on up;
- Separates tubed or tubeless tire from wheel with rubber mallet or steel hammer or air-operated machine;
- Raises vehicle with hydraulic jack, and unbolts wheel with air impact wrench;
- Ability to handle physical workload;
WHAT’S IN IT FOR YOU:
$16.00 - $18.00

WHAT YOU NEED TO HAVE:
- Conduct work responsibilities while exposed to dirt, dust, and fumes from the operation of construction equipment, cranes, forklifts, etc;
- Able to bend, kneel, squat, stand, and lift heavy objects as needed;
- Frequent lifts and carrying of up to 75 pounds for distances of up to 50 feet;
- Overhead lifting of 75 pounds;
