Opening: Test Engineer II
City: Fairview, Oregon
Who we are:
• Construct written test procedures to effectively grade performance of Forklift attachments.
• Design test fixturing utilizing CAD and engineering calculations.
• Construct test fixtures (sawing, milling, welding, electrical wiring, PLC programming) and/or contract out subcomponents.
• Execute, analyze, and document tests per our test procedures.
• Inspect returned failed parts and determine root cause of failure.
• Document and communicate results of failure analysis with proposed solutions.
• Utilize existing test techniques and explore the use of new test technologies.
• Effectively communicate and provide support service to global customers seeking testing input.
• Evaluate industry recognized test standards (ANSI, ASTM, ASME and ISO) for applicability and incorporation into our test procedures.

Salary Range- $70k-$87k DOE!

What You Need To Have:
Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering with Technical Communication in curriculum.
• 3-5 years experience in the lift truck industry or equivalent.
• Knowledge of test instrumentation (strain gages, transducers, signal conditioning) for test and troubleshooting.
• Strong working knowledge of mobile hydraulics and electronics.
• Basic AC/DC electric circuit knowledge.
• Ability to read and interpret blue prints, hydraulic and electrical schematics
• Machining and welding.
• Able to work effectively in a team environment and independently.
• Excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills.
• Outstanding organizational and analytical skills.
• Strong problem solving skills required.
