Opening: Sales Representative
City: Kent, WA

Having amassed extensive expertise over the past 25 years, we have emerged as a leading provider of fall protection solutions, trusted by thousands of clients.
Furthermore, as a comprehensive solution provider, we offer additional services such as in-house engineering consulting, custom connection design, and reinforcement of structures to support anchorage systems. We collaborate closely with building owners, architects, property managers, construction managers, and general contractors. Additionally, our alliances with renowned manufacturers of safety equipment worldwide enable us to deliver the most optimal fall protection solutions for all our clients' needs.
WHAT YOU’LL DO:
- Obtaining and managing sales leads
- Meeting with prospective clients
- Working with estimating to create bids and proposals
- Following up on leads to obtaining orders
- Managing/Coordinating the installation of the projects
- General office administration
- Updating sales database and project files
- Assisting with product installations
- This position will cover the West Coast
- $75,000/year
- Generous commission structure
- Mileage reimbursement
- Monday-Friday, full-time, flexible schedule

WHAT YOU NEED TO HAVE:
- Experience working with architects, contractors, project managers, and developers
- Experience working in the construction industry is preferred
- Ability to read and interpret construction documents, specifications, and drawings
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Sales or customer service experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Vehicle and valid driver’s license and valid auto insurance

I am born and raised in the Seattle area, and have never lived anywhere else. My wife, daughter, and I live in Renton, which is a perfect location for us. We live near all our friends and family, and we love taking advantage of all that the Northwest has to offer. Like the rest of my family, I graduated from the University of Washington, and am a huge Huskies fan. Most of my free time is spent spending time with my family, but besides that, I am a big Mariners and Seahawks fan (Bring back our Sonics!), and I coach high school basketball, which is a passion of mine. I love helping kids develop both on and off the court, and find it very rewarding to see former players as they get older and grow into young adults. Since graduating from college, I have had a number of jobs, but none that I really loved – until I started at Opti. The amazing culture that has been established is what I’ve been looking for.
