OPTI STAFFING IS HIRING!
Location: Tualatin, OR
Pay: $23Â - $33Â per hour (DOE)
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 2pm to 12:30am
Who We Are:
We are a growing steel bending and fabricating company with a stable and supportive work environment, looking to expand our team with experienced TIG Welders/Fabricators.
What You’ll Do:
- First two or three weeks would be training on day shift (5:30am-2pm)
- Perform welding and fabrication duties, including but not limited to using welders, grinders, torches, band saws, shears, punches, and drill press.
- Read, interpret, and work from blueprints or drawings.
- Complete required paperwork and communicate effectively with coworkers.
- Participate in skills demonstrations to prove welding proficiency.
- Operate forklifts and assist with loading as needed.

What You Need to Have:
- 1+ year welding experience.
- Stable work history with previous experience in structural steel fabrication.
- Basic math skills.
- Ability to lift 50lbs repeatedly and stand for long periods (4+ hours).
The Musts:
- Must be willing to join the Local 516 Union.
- Forklift and/or loading experience preferred.
- AWS D1.1 FCAW certification highly preferred.
Preferred:
- Previous experience in a structural steel fabrication shop.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
