OPTI STAFFING GROUP IS HIRING!
Opening: Temp Tire Studder
Location: Anchorage, AK
Pay: $18-20 DOE
ABOUT THE ROLE:
We are seeking dependable, detail-oriented Tire Studders to join a busy tire and automotive service company ahead of the winter season. This is a hands-on, fast-paced seasonal role installing studs into winter tires to prepare them for Alaska driving conditions. This is a temporary position expected to run August through November.
WHAT YOU'LL DO:
- Install studs into tires using a stud gun/pneumatic tool
- Inspect tires and studs to confirm proper seating and quality
- Handle and move tires throughout the shop
- Keep the work area organized, clean, and safe
- Work efficiently to keep pace with seasonal demand
REQUIREMENTS:
- Ability to stand, bend, and lift throughout a full shift
- Comfortable lifting and handling tires
- Reliable, able to work a consistent seasonal schedule through November
- Prior tire shop, automotive, or hands-on mechanical experience a plus, but not required, willing to train
- Attention to detail
