Location: Sherwood, Oregon
Compensation: $24+ hr. DOE
Hours: Monday – Friday, 2:30pm - 11pm
Who We Are:
A Local manufacturing company that engineers, fabricates, and constructs equipment for the farming and logging industry for the last 45 years is looking to hire! This company is proud to buy and make all of its products in the United States. They are a complete process taking in material and performing everything from CNC machining, welding, and assembly.
What You’ll Do:
This is a role where you will be challenged to fit and fabricate. Â This is NOT a production role where you will lay the same bead every day. You will be working on large machines for the logging and farm industry. These require knowledge of thick mild steel material.Â

What You Need to Have:Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â
- 2+ years of experience MIG welding on thick materials – we weld on steel very different than stainless steel or aluminum
- Must be able to read blueprints
- HUGE plus if they have fitting experience
- College students with a good foundation of welding process can work well
- Our shop mainly MIG/Wire Feed with 0.55 wire (Dual Shield Process)
- People with TIG backgrounds (Stainless steel / Aluminum are struggling to pass our weld tests and are paid quite a bit more than MIG folks.
Certifications are not required, but always a plus
