Position: Manual Machinist
Location: Washougal, WA
Pay: $24 – $30/hr DOE
Schedule: Monday – Friday, Day Shift

What You’ll Do:

Operate manual lathes, mills, drill presses, and grinders

Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
-
Set up jobs, select tooling, and machine parts to tight tolerances
-
Inspect finished work using calipers, micrometers, and other precision tools
-
Assist with general fabrication tasks as needed
-
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area

Collaborate with welders and fabricators on custom jobs

What You Need to Have:

3+ years of manual machining experience
-
Strong blueprint reading and measurement skills
-
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
-
Experience machining steel, stainless, and aluminum
The Musts:

Reliable transportation

Willingness to work full-time and be punctual
-
Commitment to safety and quality
-
Strong attention to detail
Preferred:
-
Welding or fabrication background
-
Experience in a job-shop environment
-
Vocational or technical training in machining
