Position: Sanitation Lead
Location: Vancouver, WA
Pay: $20–$23 per hour DOE
Schedule: Full-time | Interviews starting next week
Who We Are:
Our Client is a production and warehouse facility operating in a GMP-regulated environment. This role supports sanitation operations throughout the facility and reports directly to the Production Manager. They are looking for a long-term, reliable person to aid in leading their sanitation team, with previous experience in the industry.
What You’ll Do:
This is a hands-on cleaning position (90% cleaning, on your feet for whole shift) with light lead responsibilities.

Perform cleaning throughout offices, break rooms, restrooms, warehouse, GMP production areas, and exterior grounds

Ensure all cleaning tasks are completed properly and according to SOPs
-
Organize daily sanitation tasks and support sanitation technicians
-
Maintain and review sanitation paperwork and cleaning records
-
Order and maintain basic cleaning supplies (approximately 5% of role)
-
Maintain proper chemical storage and inventory
-
Support implementation and maintenance of SSOPs
-
Coordinate major cleanups with other departments
-
Monitor and uphold GMP and safety standards
-
Report quality and safety concerns to management
Important:
-
Position does NOT hire, conduct performance reviews, or approve time off
-
Provides guidance and ensures work is completed correctly
-
Not a desk job (2–3% paperwork/supply ordering only)

What You Need to Have:

Experience in janitorial or sanitation work
-
Experience in food production or GMP environments preferred
-
Ability to lead by example and ensure work is completed correctly

Strong attention to detail and accuracy
-
Dependable with high integrity
The Musts:
-
Ability to stand and walk all day
-
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
-
Comfortable working in warehouse/production environments
-
Able to work around food allergens
-
Willing to wear PPE as required
-
Comfortable in environments with occasional noise, dust, odors, or powders
Preferred:
-
Sanitation certification or similar credential
-
Experience leading cleaning teams or projects
-
Background in food manufacturing or dietary supplement environments
