OPTI STAFFING IS HIRING!

Position: Swing Shift CNC Machinist
Location: Vancouver, Washington
Pay: $25.00+/hr DOE
Schedule: Monday – Thursday | 3:00PM – 1:00AM (Four 10s)
Who We Are:
OPTI Staffing is partnering with a well-established precision manufacturing company in Vancouver, WA. This organization specializes in high-quality, tight-tolerance machining and values skilled machinists who take pride in their craftsmanship and attention to detail.
What You’ll Do:

  • Set up and operate 3-axis to 5-axis CNC mills and lathes

  • Work from blueprints, drawings, and GD&T specifications

  • Perform tool changes, offsets, and minor program adjustments

  • Machine precision parts to tight tolerances

  • Inspect parts using calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other measuring tools

  • Maintain production efficiency and quality standards

  • Keep a clean and organized work area

What You Need to Have:

  • Minimum 3 years of CNC machining experience

  • Experience operating mills and/or lathes

  • Strong blueprint reading skills

  • Understanding of machining tolerances and quality control

  • Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
The Musts:

  • Ability to work swing shift (3PM – 1AM, Monday–Thursday)

  • Experience with 3–5 axis CNC machines

  • Ability to hold tight tolerances

  • Strong attention to detail

  • Ability to work independently
Preferred:

  • Experience editing programs at the machine

  • Experience in precision or aerospace machining environments

  • Familiarity with advanced inspection tools
