Job Description
Position: Welder
Location: Vancouver, WA
Pay: $20.60 – $31.30 per hour DOE + $1.25 Swing Shift Differential
Schedule: Monday – Friday, Day and Swing Shifts Available

What You’ll Do:

Review blueprints and job specifications with supervisor.
-
Set up welding machines for correct current, amperage, and gas flow settings.
-
Set up and fixture parts for welding according to specifications.
-
Weld components to meet AWS D1.1 standards or higher.
-
Inspect finished welds for accuracy, dimensions, and tolerances.
-
Straighten, ream, and debur parts as needed using standard industry tools.
-
Provide guidance and support to welder trainees.
-
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized 5S workstation while promoting company safety policies.

What You Need to Have:

High school diploma or equivalent.
-
Reliability, punctuality, and a strong work ethic.
-
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and material specifications.
-
Proficiency in MIG, FCAW, and tack welding.
-
Experience with standard metalworking tools.
-
Solid math and measuring skills (tape measure proficiency required).
The Musts:
-
Minimum of 2 years welding experience.
-
Commitment to safety and quality workmanship.
Preferred:
-
Experience mentoring or training other welders.
-
Familiarity with AWS D1.1 or higher welding standards.
