Position: Journey-Level Trailer Mechanic
Location: Vancouver, WA
Pay: $20–$30/hr (DOE)
Schedule: Full-Time
Who We Are:
Do you want to work for a stable, growing company with excellent benefits and competitive wages? Here is the opportunity for you! We are a local, established company seeking well-qualified Journey-Level Trailer Mechanics to join our team.
What You’ll Do:

  • Perform structural welding on trailers.

  • Troubleshoot and repair electrical systems (including wiring brake lights).

  • Inspect, maintain, and repair air brakes and axles.

  • Conduct fleet maintenance and preventative services on trailers.

  • Ensure repairs meet safety and quality standards.

What You Need to Have:

  • Proven experience in fleet maintenance for trailers.

  • Ability to read and follow technical manuals and schematics.

  • Strong troubleshooting and repair skills.
The Musts:

  • Direct experience working on trailers (structural welding, air brakes, electrical).

  • Ability to work safely and efficiently.

  • Reliability and strong attention to detail.
Preferred:

  • Formal technical training or certifications in welding, electrical, or trailer mechanics.

  • CDL or other relevant licenses.
