Job Title: Production Lead
Location: Vancouver, WA
Pay: DOE
Schedule: Full-time, Monday–Friday, Swing Shift

What You’ll Do
As a Production Lead, you will guide a team of machinists in the production of highly complex aerospace parts using advanced CNC machines (3, 4, and 5-axis). You'll ensure quality, troubleshoot issues, mentor your team, and collaborate across departments to maintain top performance and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities Include:

Assign daily machinist tasks and ensure schedule alignment

Troubleshoot machining and programming issues
-
Coach and mentor machinists to support professional growth
-
Collaborate with Engineering and QA to improve workflow
-
Ensure optimal machine setups and calibration
-
Maintain tooling availability
-
Drive root cause analysis and corrective actions
-
Lead continuous improvement and lean initiatives
-
Enforce safety and compliance with AS9100 and ISO standards

Support other departments as needed (Debur, Assembly, Washing, Shipping)

What You Need to Have The Musts:
-
High school diploma or equivalent
-
7+ years of machining experience, including 2+ years in a lead role
-
Strong CNC machine knowledge (3, 4, 5-axis)
-
Advanced understanding of GD&T and ASME Y14.5
-
Ability to troubleshoot, coach, and enforce high standards
-
Forklift Certification
-
Physical ability to lift 75 lbs and stand for 8+ hours
-
Aerospace industry experience
-
Familiarity with AS9100D and ISO 9001:2015
-
Experience with Lean, 6S, and Continuous Improvement initiatives
