What You’ll Do:
As a Machinist III, you’ll play a key role in the production team by operating and programming complex 3, 4, and 5-axis CNC machines. You’ll be expected to work independently on high-tolerance parts, optimize machining processes, and mentor junior machinists. Responsibilities include:

Performing advanced machining operations with minimal supervision
-
Inspecting first-run and finished parts for accuracy and quality
-
Troubleshooting machining and programming issues
-
Training and assisting Machinist I and II team members
-
Reading and interpreting technical drawings and blueprints
-
Applying knowledge of GD&T and ASME Y14.5 standards
-
Maintaining equipment and shop cleanliness
-
Supporting related departments as needed (deburring, assembly, shipping, etc.)

What You Need to Have:
The Musts:

High school diploma or equivalent
-
5+ years of CNC machining experience
-
Expertise with G & M codes and multi-axis CNC machines
-
Familiarity with GD&T and ASME Y14.5
-
Skilled in using inspection tools (micrometers, calipers, gauges)
-
Able to lift up to 75 lbs and stand for long periods
-
Forklift certification (or willingness to obtain)
Preferred:
-
Experience in aerospace manufacturing
-
Working knowledge of ISO 9001:2015, AS9100D
-
Exposure to Lean Manufacturing, 5S, and continuous improvement practices
-
Basic computer skills
