Opening: Part-Time Groundskeeper
City: Seattle, WA
WHO THEY ARE:
Since our founding in 1976 our mission has centered on providing affordable, inclusive housing. Over the years, we've expanded into areas like Belltown and the Central District, now owning nearly 50 apartment buildings across Seattle and White Center. These homes serve more than 2,000 residents, offering safe and stable living environments. Recognized with multiple awards, our work goes beyond housing—we actively collaborate with local artists, businesses, and organizations to support vibrant, connected communities and continually enhance the neighborhoods we call home.
WHAT YOU'LL DO:
As a groundskeeper for our apartment community, you will help maintain the overall appearance, safety, and cleanliness of the property. Your responsibilities will include regular landscaping tasks such as mowing, trimming, watering, and seasonal clean-up, as well as keeping walkways, common areas, and outdoor amenities free of debris. You may also assist with basic maintenance needs, reporting any property issues, and ensuring the grounds remain welcoming and well-kept for residents and guests.
WHAT'S IN IT FOR YOU:
Part-Time Hours 8am-12pm
$25/hr

WHAT YOU NEED TO HAVE:
We are looking for candidates with prior experience in landscaping, grounds maintenance, or a similar outdoor labor position. Familiarity with basic lawn care equipment—such as mowers, trimmers, and blowers—is important, along with a solid understanding of seasonal yard work and general property upkeep. Experience working in an apartment community or commercial setting is a plus, but not required. Most importantly, candidates should be reliable, able to work independently, and comfortable performing physical tasks in various weather conditions.
