Position: Meat Processor / Butcher
Location: Portland, OR
Pay: $18–$22+/hr DOE
Schedule: Full-time, Monday–Friday, Day Shift
Who We Are:
We’re a fast-paced, high-quality meat processing facility looking for a motivated individual to join our team as a Meat Processor / Butcher. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience in meat cutting, portioning, and processing who thrives in a production environment.
What You’ll Do:

Break down primal cuts into retail or foodservice portions
-
Trim, debone, and prepare meats according to customer specifications
-
Operate saws, knives, and other meat processing equipment safely and efficiently
-
Maintain a clean and sanitary work area, adhering to food safety standards
-
Package, label, and store processed meats
-
Follow daily production schedules and meet output goals

What You Need to Have:

Ability to safely use knives, saws, and other cutting tools

Comfortable working in a cold environment (refrigerated areas)

Good communication and teamwork skills

Strong attention to detail and Safety

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly
The Musts:
-
Previous experience in meat processing, butchering, or similar work
-
Reliable transportation and strong attendance record
-
Commitment to food safety and cleanliness
Preferred:
-
Experience in custom cutting or specialty meats
-
Knowledge of USDA or HACCP regulations
