What You’ll Do:
As a Belt Technician, you will perform belt installation, repair, fabrication, and vulcanization for both lightweight and heavyweight conveyor systems. You’ll also lead field crews, train junior technicians, and ensure jobsite compliance and customer satisfaction.
Core Responsibilities:

Install/repair conveyor belting using hot and cold splice techniques
-
Lead and mentor a crew of up to 5 technicians
-
Fabricate and vulcanize belt systems in shop and field environments
-
Complete job documentation and timesheets accurately
-
Perform belt audits, pulley lagging, and liaise with customers and specialists

What You Need to Have:

3+ years of proven experience in belt installation, manufacturing and repair
-
High school diploma or GED
-
Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces
-
Ability to lift 75+ lbs regularly
-
Willingness to travel 75% of the time
-
Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights/weekends/holidays
The Musts:
-
Must be 21+ years old (DOT-regulated)
-
Valid driver’s license; CDL Class A preferred
-
Clean driving record, experience making industrial beltsÂ
-
Pass DOT physical, drug test, and background check
Preferred:
-
Experience in lightweight/heavyweight conveyor belting
-
Leadership experience or mentoring of junior technicians
-
CDL License or ability to drive truck/trailer combo
