Location: Hillsboro, Oregon
Compensation: $29-31/hr. DOE
Hours: Monday – Thursday, 6:00am-4:30pm
**With possibility of moving to Night or Weekend days by extending full-time employment beyond the 6-9 months with additional shift differential.**

Local manufacturing company in Hillsboro that is the source for metal fabrication, design work, sawing, manual machining, prototype, high precision multi axis machine work and large production runs. This company is proud to buy and make all its products in the United States.
What You'll Do
As a CNC Citizen Lathe Machinist you will be working with a variety of precision machines, following blueprint specifications using CNC processes. Programming is not necessary but the ability to modify G and M code is important
*Set up and operate 3-axis Mori Seiki & Citizen Lathe with live tooling (DMG Mori NLX / Mori Seiki NL2500)
*Inspect components during manufacturing and maintain consistent quality.

What You Need to Have:
- High-quality mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
- At least 2-5 years experience on CNC Citizen Lathe Machines.
- Aptitude to quality check machined parts for finish and dimensions.
- Ability to read blueprints and drawings.
