Opening: Saw Operator
City: Fife, WA
Pay- $23.00/hour, with an increase to $24.00/hour after just 90 days
Who We Are: We are one of the world’s largest distributors of aerospace-grade steel and titanium, and we’re growing! Our busy facility in Fife, WA is expanding, and we’re looking for dependable, hard-working individuals to join our team. We specialize in supplying top-quality metals to the aerospace sector and other critical industries where precision and strength matter.
What You'll Do: As a Saw Operator, you will be responsible for cutting metal materials—mainly steel and titanium—into specific sizes according to customer orders. You'll start each job by setting up the industrial saw and adjusting the machine settings based on the required measurements. Once the saw is ready, you'll operate it carefully, keeping a close eye on the process to ensure everything runs smoothly and safely. After the materials are cut, you’ll use measuring tools like tape measures or calipers to check that the pieces are accurate and meet quality standards. Part of your role will also include helping to package and move the finished materials to the next stage, often using forklifts or carts. Finally, you'll complete basic paperwork for each job to keep everything organized and properly documented. What You'll Need: You’ll be a great fit for this role if you have at least a year of experience working in a warehouse or manufacturing setting, as this background helps you understand the pace and safety expectations of a busy shop environment. Being comfortable using a tape measure accurately is essential, since precise measurements are a key part of the job. If you’re someone with strong mechanical aptitude—meaning you enjoy working with machines, tools, and figuring out how things work—you’ll likely pick up the technical aspects quickly. Experience with industrial saws or other cutting equipment is a big plus, but not required; we’re happy to train the right person who’s eager to learn and grow with us.
What's In It For You:

Starting pay of $23.00/hour, with an increase to $24.00/hour after just 90 days

Day shift training (1:00 PM – 9:30 PM) to start, followed by a transition to swing shift beginning in early 2026

All certifications and training paid for by the company – including forklift, overhead crane, and industrial saw operation
