Opti Staffing is Hiring! 

Position: Machinist – Level 2
Location: Clackamas, OR
Pay: $23.00 – $30.00/hour (DOE)
Schedule: Day/Swing Shift | Monday – Friday 
Who We Are:
Hilton Tool is a manufacturer of precision machined components specializing in close tolerance parts, assemblies, prototyping, production runs, and CAD design. We are expanding to a second location in Clackamas, Oregon, and are looking to add new members to our team. If you are eager to advance your manufacturing career and collaborate with a diverse, highly skilled team, please apply.
What You’ll Do:

  • Review production process work instructions and drawings with your supervisor to fully understand requirements

  • Set up equipment required for each step of the manufacturing process

  • Set up tools and fixtures, load them into machines, and set offsets

  • Set parts’ X, Y, and Z offsets in the machine control

  • Read and understand G & M codes

  • Measure parts throughout the manufacturing process and adjust offsets to ensure compliance with drawings

  • Follow all company safety guidelines

  • Maintain a clean and organized work area

What You Need to Have: The Musts:

  • Positive attitude

  • Knowledge of CNC machine tools and controls

  • Understanding of machining and machining processes

  • Ability to read blueprints

  • Excellent math skills

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities

  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

  • Ability to perform job duties with limited supervision

  • Commitment to continuously build knowledge and share expertise with others
Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds

  • Ability to stand for the entire shift
