Job Description
Position: Machinist Level 3
Location: Vancouver, WA
Pay: $33.00–$40.00/hour + $1.50/hour Swing Shift Differential
Schedule: Full-Time, Swing Shift — Monday–Thursday, 4:30 PM–3:00 AM
Who We Are:
Hilton Tool is a manufacturer of precision-machined components, specializing in close-tolerance parts, assemblies, prototyping, and production runs. We are expanding into our second facility and seeking skilled team members who want to grow their career in advanced manufacturing.
What You’ll Do:

Develop manufacturing plans based on drawing specifications
-
Read and interpret work instructions, blueprints, and GD&T
-
Set up CNC mills, lathes, Wire & Sinker EDM, and supporting equipment
-
Configure tools, fixtures, and machine offsets (X, Y, Z)
-
Read, understand, and adjust G & M code
-
Monitor production and make critical adjustments to maintain tolerance
-
Inspect parts using height gauges, calipers, micrometers, etc.
-
Maintain tolerance of +/-.001 throughout production
-
Perform in-process and final inspections
-
Keep a clean and organized work area

What You Need to Have:

Strong CNC machining background
-
Deep knowledge of machine tools, controls, speeds, and feeds
-
Ability to read engineering drawings and interpret GD&T
-
Excellent machine shop math skills
-
Ability to work with limited supervision
-
Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
-
Commitment to safety and continuous improvement
The Musts:

Ability to lift 50 lbs
-
Ability to stand for the full shift
-
Positive attitude and a teamwork mindset
Preferred:
-
Experience with EDM (Wire or Sinker)
-
Experience in a high-precision or aerospace-style machining environment
