Position: CNC Machine Shop Leadman
Location: Clackamas, OR
Pay: $40.00 – $45.00/hour (DOE)
Schedule: Day Shift | Monday – Thursday 7:00 AM – 4:30 PM | Friday 7:00 AM – 11:00 AM

What You’ll Do:

Read and understand production process work instructions and drawings to gain a thorough understanding of requirements

Monitor the production process, think critically, and make adjustments when problems arise
-
Coordinate daily tasks based on priorities and plans, adjusting for weather, supply, delivery, and personnel changes
-
Delegate responsibilities and projects to crew members
-
Train, manage, and mentor employees
-
Emphasize safe use of tools, machinery, and equipment while providing safety training
-
Resolve conflicts or miscommunications quickly and amicably
-
Regularly report project status to management

What You Need to Have: The Musts:
-
Positive attitude
-
Ability to develop action plans to manufacture parts according to drawings or sample parts
-
Extensive knowledge of CNC machine tools and controls
-
Extensive knowledge of machining processes and machine shop tooling, speeds, and feeds
-
Ability to read blueprints and interpret GD&T
-
Excellent math skills related to machine shop calculations (feeds and speeds)
-
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
-
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
-
Strong verbal and written communication skills
-
Ability to comply with all company safety guidelines
Physical Requirements:
-
Able to lift up to 50 pounds
-
Able to stand for the entire shift
