Opening: Maintenance Technician
Location: Anchorage, AK
Pay: $22 - $25
Schedule: Full-time, Day Shift
COMPANY INFO:
We’re partnering with a trusted, established property maintenance company serving both commercial and residential buildings on base in Anchorage. They’re looking for a dependable Maintenance Technician to join their crew and keep properties running smoothly year-round.
WHAT YOU’LL DO:
This is a hands-on role where every day looks a little different. You'll be responsible for a mix of repairs, maintenance, and seasonal upkeep.
- Responding to routine service requests & preventative maintenance
- Troubleshooting and fixing plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and appliance issues
- Handling drywall repairs, interior/exterior painting, and general repairs
- Installing and repairing door/window hardware, blinds, and caulking
- Seasonal work like snow removal and weatherproofing
- Transporting tools and materials between job sites
- Being part of an on-call rotation for emergency repairs
- Communicating with tenants and team members while keeping safety first
REQUIREMENTS:
- Prior experience in general building maintenance
- Skilled in plumbing, electrical, HVAC, or appliance repair
- Able to lift 50 lbs and handle physical tasks daily
- Attention to detail and a safety-first mindset
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Must pass a background check and drug screen
- Bonus: Commercial maintenance experience
