OPTI STAFFING GROUP IS HIRING
Opening: Residential Maintenance Tech
Location: Anchorage, AK
Pay: $25 - $27 PH
Schedule: Full-time, Day Shift
COMPANY INFO:
We’re partnering with a well-respected residential property management company that oversees multiple buildings throughout Anchorage. Known for maintaining clean, safe, and welcoming communities, they’re seeking a dedicated Maintenance Technician to join their team. If you’re someone who takes pride in your work and enjoys problem-solving with your hands, this could be the perfect fit.
WHAT YOU’LL DO:
Daily:
- Walk property grounds, remove debris, and check for issues
- Handle minor repairs (lights, locks, general maintenance)
- Report safety concerns and check in with the manager for work orders
- Prep vacant units when no urgent tasks are pending
- Organize tools and supplies
- Assist with lawn care, snow removal, and seasonal tasks
- Maintain garages, parking areas, and common spaces
- Follow all safety guidelines when using tools or working at heights
- Inventory supplies and prep materials
- Clean maintenance areas
- Support larger or scheduled repair projects
- Stay ahead of buildup, especially on rooftops
- Use proper equipment and gear—safety first
- Follow all snow/ice removal procedures to protect people and property
REQUIREMENTS:
- 2+ years of hands-on maintenance experience (residential preferred)
- General knowledge of carpentry, plumbing, electrical, and appliance repair
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and be physically active throughout the day
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Excellent communication and time management skills
- Must pass a background check and drug screen
