Opening: Skid/ Shipping & Receiving Associate
City: Fife
WHO THEY ARE:
Join our dynamic team as a Skid/ Shipping & Receiving Associate for a top national manufacturer of titanium steel products. We are a key supplier to industry giants like Boeing, Lockheed Martin, and other major players in the DOD and aerospace sectors. WHAT YOU NEED TO HAVE:
We are seeking a motivated, career-oriented individual who learns quickly and thrives in a team environment. The ideal candidate can occasionally lift 50 to 70 lbs., is consistently punctual and reliable, and has basic math skills.
WHAT YOU WILL DO:
You will receive and inspect incoming shipments, compare contents to purchase orders, and report any mismatches or damage. You’ll prepare shipping and receiving documentation accurately and consistently. Next, you’ll build and secure pallets—stacking, wrapping, strapping, and banding—while picking, packing, staging, and ensuring outgoing orders meet quality standards. You’ll operate pallet jacks, forklifts, and similar equipment safely and efficiently. You’ll help with inventory control by conducting counts, monitoring stock rotation like FIFO, and inspecting outbound pallets. You’ll coordinate with carriers, staging shipments and scheduling pickups. You’ll also uphold warehouse safety and housekeeping standards and collaborate proactively with team members and supervisors to resolve logistical issues and maintain smooth operations.
WHAT IS IN IT FOR YOU:
- Pay: $23-25/hr DOE
- Shift: Monday – Friday 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
- Room for Growth and Advancements.
