Opti Staffing Group is partnering with a leading sign and lighting company in Anchorage to find a Sign Installation Technician. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on work, working outdoors, and learning a skilled trade in a growing industry.
WHAT YOU’LL DO:
As a Sign Installation Technician, you will assist with the installation and maintenance of commercial signage and lighting systems. Responsibilities include:
- Installing a variety of signs including LED, channel letters, and monument signs
- Assisting with lighting installations and maintenance
- Using power tools, lifts, and ladders to complete jobs safely and efficiently
- Following blueprints and technical drawings to ensure proper placement and installation
- Working with a team to troubleshoot and resolve installation challenges
- Ensuring compliance with safety regulations and maintaining a clean job site
REQUIREMENTS:
- Mechanical aptitude and comfort working with tools and equipment
- Ability to work outdoors and at heights using ladders and lifts
- Basic electrical or construction experience is a plus but not required
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
- Valid driver’s license required
- Willingness to learn and grow within the industry
