Location: Forest Grove, Oregon
Salary: 62K - 72K
Hours: Monday – Friday, 5:30am-3:30pmÂ
Who We Are:
Our manufacturing facility is located on 5 acres in Forest Grove, Oregon, flanked by the coast range on the west and the Cascade Mountains on the east. We began as a supplier of group operator air break disconnects, their product line has evolved to include motor operators, ground switches, surge suppression resistors, unitized phase-over-phase designs, to mention a few.Â
What You’ll Do:
As Shop Foreman in a fabrication department, you will oversee the daily operations of the shop floor, ensuring that fabrication projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to specification. This role serves as a key link between management and shop floor personnel.
Key Responsibilities:

Supervision & Leadership: Directs and supports a team of fabricators, welders, and machinists. Assigns tasks, monitors performance, and ensures productivity targets are met.

Project Coordination: Reviews blueprints and work orders, plans workflow, and ensures materials and resources are available for each job.

Quality Control: Inspects work for accuracy and quality, ensuring adherence to fabrication standards, tolerances, and specifications.

Training & Safety: Provides on-the-job training and enforces safety protocols to maintain a safe working environment.

Problem Solving: Troubleshoots issues related to materials, machines, or workmanship and implements timely solutions.

Communication: Acts as a liaison between the shop floor and upper management, relaying project updates, personnel needs, or equipment concerns.

Skills & Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience managing or supervisingÂ
- Strong background in metal fabrication, welding, and blueprint reading
- Leadership and team management skills
- Familiarity with OSHA and workplace safety standards
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple jobs simultaneously
- Experience with scheduling, time tracking, and inventory systems
