Position: Sheet Metal Fabricator
Location: SE Portland, OR
Pay: $25.00+/hr DOE
Schedule: Day Shift | Full-Time

What You’ll Do:
- Fabricate custom sheet metal products to customer specifications
- Perform spot welding on sheet metal components
- Operate manual shears, presses, and fabrication equipment
- Utilize a plasma table to cut and prepare materials
- Read and interpret basic drawings and work instructions
- Manage incoming inventory and materials for retail sales
- Assist customers with product pickup and inquiries
- Support daily retail sales operations
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently

What You Need to Have:
- Mechanical aptitude and a willingness to learn
- Previous fabrication or sheet metal experience
- Experience with spot welding, shears, presses, or plasma cutting equipment is a plus
- Strong communication skills
- Good math skills
- Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset
- Basic computer skills
- Ability to work independently and take initiative
The Musts:
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen
- Ability to regularly lift up to 50 lbs
- Reliable attendance and punctuality
- Ability to meet company dress code requirements
- Commitment to completing a six-month probationary period
- Ability to work safely in a manufacturing environment
Preferred:
- Sheet metal fabrication experience
- Spot welding experience
- Experience operating manual shears and presses
- Plasma table experience
- Retail or customer service experience
- Inventory management experience
- Manufacturing or production background
