What You’ll Do:
As a Service Writer, you will be the first point of contact for customers, ensuring their needs are met with professionalism and efficiency. Your primary responsibilities will include scheduling appointments, preparing estimates, coordinating with technicians, and maintaining clear communication with customers throughout the service process.
- Greet customers and assess their service needs.
- Create and update work orders and estimates.
- Act as a liaison between customers and technicians, ensuring timely updates on repairs.
- Maintain accurate records of services and parts used.
- Provide exceptional customer service to build long-term relationships.
- Assist with inventory management and order parts as needed.
- Monitor repair progress and communicate timelines to customers
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Experience in the automotive industry or related field is preferred but not required.
- Basic knowledge of automotive systems and repair processes is a plus.
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency with computer systems and office software.
- Team-oriented attitude with a focus on delivering excellent results.
