Who We Are:
Opti Staffing is hiring for a growing mobility equipment company in Vancouver, WA. We are looking for a dependable, mechanically inclined Service Technician to repair and maintain mobility equipment and help ensure customers have safe, reliable equipment.
What You’ll Do:
- Diagnose, repair, and maintain wheelchairs, power chairs, scooters, and other mobility equipment
- Perform mechanical and basic electrical troubleshooting
- Inspect equipment to identify issues and determine necessary repairs
- Replace, adjust, and install components as needed
- Test equipment to ensure it is operating safely and properly
- Maintain accurate service and repair records
- Communicate with customers regarding equipment issues and repairs
- Keep tools, equipment, and work areas clean and organized
- Follow all company safety and service procedures
- $20+/hr DOE
- Part-time opportunity to start at 25+ hours per week
- Opportunity for additional hours as business needs grow
- Hands-on work with specialized equipment

- Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Comfortable using hand and power tools
- Ability to work independently and stay organized
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Reliable transportation
- CLEAN DRIVING RECORD REQUIRED
- Dependable and punctual
- Mechanically inclined and comfortable troubleshooting equipment
- Able to safely lift, move, and work around mobility equipment
- Comfortable working directly with customers
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Ability to pass any required background/driving checks
- Previous experience repairing wheelchairs, scooters, power chairs, or mobility equipment
- Mechanical or electrical repair experience
- Experience with batteries, motors, wiring, or basic electrical systems
- Automotive, small-engine, appliance, HVAC, or similar repair experience
- Previous field service or technician experience
