Location: PDX/SW PDX
Schedule: Full-Time/Hybrid

What You’ll Be Doing:
- Lead estimating efforts for structural steel fabrication and erection projects
- Perform detailed quantity takeoffs from structural and architectural drawings
- Utilize Tekla Structures and/or PowerFab for estimating, takeoffs, and data management
- Analyze labor, material, equipment, subcontractor, and overhead costs
- Review bid documents, specifications, and scope to ensure complete and accurate estimates
- Collaborate with project managers, detailers, engineers, and fabrication teams
- Develop bid proposals, clarifications, and value-engineering options
- Maintain historical cost data and estimating benchmarks
- Participate in post-bid reviews and project handoff meetings
- Provide mentorship and technical guidance to junior estimators as needed
What We’re Looking For:
- 7+ years of experience estimating structural steel projects
- Strong understanding of steel fabrication and erection processes
- Hands-on experience with Tekla Structures and/or PowerFab
- Ability to read and interpret structural, architectural, and shop drawings
- Working knowledge of AISC standards and industry best practices
- Highly organized with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage multiple bids and deadlines simultaneously
- Clear communicator who works well across teams
MUST Have:
- Experience with large-scale commercial or industrial steel projects - BRIDGE-ERECTOR-STRUCTURAL-STEEL
- Fabrication shop background
- BIM coordination or detailing exposure
- Leadership or mentoring experience
- Engineering or construction management background
