$130,000 – $160,000 annually (DOE) + bonus potential
Schedule:
Full-time | Monday – Friday
Who We Are:
We are partnering with a highly respected and growing commercial mechanical construction company located in SW Portland known for delivering creative, solution-oriented projects. This team takes pride in their collaborative approach, high-performance standards, and commitment to quality and integrity.
They are seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead projects, mentor teams, and ensure successful delivery across all phases of construction.
What You’ll Do:
- Oversee multiple commercial and mechanical construction projects from start to finish
- Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards
- Drive client satisfaction and maintain strong relationships
- Manage project financials, including budgets, forecasting, and profitability
- Lead and develop project teams, Project Managers, and field staff
- Act as the key liaison between job sites, office teams, and field operations leadership
- Monitor schedules, resources, and project performance
- Identify risks and implement solutions to keep projects on track

What You Need to Have:
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Mechanical Engineering, or related field
- 10+ years of experience in commercial and mechanical construction
- Proven ability to manage large-scale, complex construction projects
- Strong leadership and team development skills
- Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to make quick, effective decisions in a deadline-driven environment
The Musts:
- Proficiency with Procore
- Proficiency with Bluebeam
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong financial and operational project management experience
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously
- High level of accountability, professionalism, and attention to detail
Preferred:
- Experience managing mechanical construction projects (HVAC, piping, plumbing)
- Familiarity with AutoCAD, BIM, and VDC environments
- Background working with high-performing, team-oriented construction companies
- Experience mentoring Project Managers and project teams
