Opening: Sander (Cabinet Shop)

We import and store all of our own slab materials, and handle both fabrication and installation of countertops in-house, ensuring consistency, efficiency, and value for our customers.
WHAT YOU'LL DO:
As a Sander in a countertop and cabinetry shop, you’ll be responsible for preparing wood surfaces by smoothing and finishing them to meet quality standards before assembly or installation. Your daily tasks will include sanding cabinets, doors, and countertops using hand tools or power sanders, checking for imperfections, and ensuring surfaces are clean and ready for staining, painting, or sealing. Attention to detail, consistency, and a focus on craftsmanship are key to ensuring each product meets the shop’s high standards.
WHAT'S IN IT FOR YOU:
M-F 5am-1:30pm
Hourly Pay $21-$23/hr
WHAT YOU NEED TO HAVE:
To be successful in the Sander position, candidates should have experience working with wood or cabinetry, preferably in a manufacturing or shop environment. Familiarity with hand sanders, power sanders, and other finishing tools is important, along with an understanding of surface preparation techniques. Attention to detail, good hand-eye coordination, and the ability to identify imperfections are key. Prior experience in countertop or cabinet production is a plus, as is a strong work ethic and the ability to follow safety and quality standards.
