Compensation: $32+ DOE
Hours: 7am – 3:30pm Monday – Friday

What You’ll Do Perform all operations of Surface Mount Technology (SMT) assembly line equipment, including automated stencil printing, pick and place, board programming, solder reflow and finished PCB quality inspection.
20% of the role will be program writing and or, tweaking.
Experience:
Minimum 3 years’. Similar and recent automated electronic assembly. Experience with Universal, Fuji, Panasonic, ASM (Siemens), myData or equivalent is a plus. Essential Functions/Responsibilities:
- Complete setup preparation for SMT
- Write, load and ensure correct programming into SMT machines
- Operate automated Pick and Place Machine lines (ASM Siemens)
- Soldering and rework of SMT components
- Prepare components, pick and place machines for PCB assembly
- Inspected assembled PCB’s for quality and placement accuracy
- Complete daily, weekly, and monthly maintenance of SMT machines
- Track job orders and quantities accurately
- Adhere to IPC standards
- Clean and inspect circuits in post-production
- Cycle count SMT Inventory

• Must be familiar with Surface-Mount Technology (SMT) electronic components and SMT assembly process.
• Able to perform basic soldering and rework of SMT components.
• Must have ability to identify components and work with a high level of detail and accuracy
• Working knowledge of ASM SiPlace software
• Familiarity with ASM SMT equipment (SX, TX, etc.) a Plus
• Knowledge of setup and operate of DEK printers a plus
• Manual dexterity to operate machinery and hand tools such as screwdrivers, pliers, cutters, etc.
• Able to perform visual inspections of SMT assemblies.
• Correctly fill out data sheets; may be required to do simple math calculations.
• Must be able to understand and follow the details in Assembly Instructions (AI), BOM, and other process instructions. Effective verbal communication skills and team orientation.
• Ability to read, interpret, and work from blueprints, wiring diagrams, rough schematics, verbal instruction and work instructions in English.
• Must be able to navigate in basic computer applications such as MS Windows.
