We are looking for a R&D Technician 3 to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks related to research and development, including setting up and troubleshooting equipment, preparing and running samples for testing, and visually inspecting parts. You will also be responsible for creating tools and fixtures, tracking and ordering raw materials, and generating reports.
Responsibilities
- Set up and troubleshoot equipment
- Prepare and run samples for testing
- Visually inspect parts
- Create tools and fixtures
- Track and order raw materials
- Generate reports
- Support a variety of engineering activities
- Train other workers
- Lead projects
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 6+ years of technician experience
- Ability to use basic measuring equipment and complex laboratory equipment
- Ability to read, write, and comprehend verbal and written instructions in English
- Skill in applying basic statistics, formulas, and Excel
- Skill in reading mechanical drawings
- Ability to stand, walk, or sit for extended periods
- Ability to grab small parts or hand tools with hands
- Ability to lift and carry up to 35 pounds
- Willingness to wear finger cots, masks, and/or cleanroom apparel
- Eligible to work in an ITAR environment
