Opening: Registered Nurse
Location: Anchorage, AK
Pay: $40-48 DOE
We're seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Registered Nurse (RN) to join a respected and growing outpatient medical practice. If you're passionate about providing exceptional patient care and enjoy working alongside experienced physicians in a collaborative clinical environment, we'd love to connect with you.
What You'll Do
- Partner closely with physicians to provide high-quality patient care.
- Prepare patients, exam rooms, and medical equipment for appointments and procedures.
- Assist providers during examinations, treatments, and diagnostic testing.
- Observe, assess, and document patient conditions and responses to treatment.
- Maintain accurate electronic medical records, including patient education, phone encounters, and test results.
- Process prescription refills and medication orders as directed by providers.
- Educate patients on treatment plans, medications, and follow-up care.
- Ensure patient confidentiality and compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to deliver an outstanding patient experience.
- Perform additional clinical duties as assigned.
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license.
- Current BLS certification (or ability to obtain upon hire).
- Strong assessment, critical thinking, and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication and patient care abilities.
- Experience in a clinical or outpatient setting is preferred.
- EMR experience is a plus.
Pay: $40.00–$48.00 per hour, depending on experience and education.
