OPTI STAFFING GROUP IS HIRING
Opening: Registered Nurse Electrophysiology
Location: Anchorage AK
Pay: $28 - $45 PH + DOE
COMPANY INFO:
We are partnering with a respected cardiology and electrophysiology practice focused on patient centered care, clinical accuracy, and efficient workflows in a busy clinic environment.
WHAT YOU’LL DO:
- Provide direct patient care in the electrophysiology clinic within physician directed protocols
- Prepare exam and treatment rooms, maintain supplies, and ensure cleanliness and readiness
- Room patients, collect histories, obtain vital signs, and support patient preparation for procedures
- Assist with twelve lead EKGs and treadmill testing and support prescribed treatments per clinic standards
- Observe and document patient status and responses to medications and treatments and communicate changes to providers
- Coordinate scheduling for tests, treatments, and procedures and ensure priority handling for urgent needs
- Educate patients and families on medications, treatments, and follow up instructions
- Triage and route incoming calls, provide guidance within scope, and escalate as appropriate
- Maintain accurate charts, records, and reports while safeguarding patient confidentiality
- Participate in staff meetings and ongoing professional development
- Support timely patient flow and collaborate effectively with the care team
REQUIREMENTS:
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
- Current Alaska RN license
- Current CPR required; ACLS preferred
- Cardiology or electrophysiology experience preferred
- Proficiency with vital signs, EKGs, treadmill testing, sample collection, and EMR documentation
- Knowledge of basic cardiac rhythm recognition and foundational pharmacology including common interactions and side effects
