Position: Quality Manager
Location: Tigard, OR
Schedule: M-F 7:30AM-4:00PM
Who We Are:
Local Manufacturing company is looking to add a Quality Manager to their team! This company was founded in 1997 and is dedicated to producing plastic parts and components for high-technology companies.
What You’ll Do:
- Manage the Quality Assurance Department functions, including inspection, quality planning, and systems development.
- Lead the development, administration, and maintenance of Quality system policy and procedures to ensure ISO conformance.
- Supervise quality assurance functions to support company quality and on-time delivery requirements.
- Collect, maintain, and report quality performance data to management.
- Initiate investigations and corrective actions for internal, supplier, or customer quality issues.
- Act as management representative for customer quality interface activities.
- Support safety, quality, delivery, cost, and other business performance objectives.
- Staff, train, and develop Quality Assurance personnel.
- Collaborate with Project Management, Material, Production, and Sales teams to support manufacturing objectives.
- Implement and monitor an “In Process” inspection program across production floor departments.
- Document all incoming and outgoing products with photos and dimensional data.
- Assist engineering with the Product Work Instruction process.

- Minimum of five years as a Quality Manager/Engineer with strong knowledge of ISO-based quality systems.
- Prior experience in a manufacturing environment with specialized knowledge of machined and fabricated products.
- Excellent understanding of metrology and manufacturing systems.
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.
- Proficiency in basic computer skills, including spreadsheets, word processors, e-mail, and database management.
- Demonstrated experience in quality management and ISO compliance.
- Proven ability to lead and develop a quality assurance team.
- Strong decision-making skills with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Ability to work independently and under pressure to meet deadlines.
- Advanced knowledge of MRP, material and production control, manufacturing engineering, and personnel management.
- Experience in documenting and analyzing product quality performance data.
