Job Description

Quality Inspector

We are a mid-market, customer oriented, build to print, manufacturer of machine parts, components and assemblies. We specialize in tight-tolerance, complex and ready to install, fully processed details and assemblies for Commercial Airplanes, Aerospace, Military Platforms, and Avionics Designers.

ISO 9001/AS9100 Certified, providing a variety of manufacturing capabilities in support of a growing commercial, aerospace and defense market.


Support Manufacturing Operations to ensure product compliance with customer specification and drawing requirements.


-Perform First Part Inspection, In Process Inspection, Final Inspection, Receiving Inspection of raw materials, supplier machining and special processing.

-Perform First Article Inspection per AS9102.

-Perform process dimensional checks at machining centers as needed.

-Document dimensional data and report results.
-Participate in problem solving and root cause analysis as needed to support manufacturing.


-Working knowledge of GD&T (ASME Y14.5-2009)

-Able to read, interpret and utilize customer drawings, parts lists and specifications to analyze dimensional attributes on machined and assembled parts.
-Working knowledge of CNC machine generated geometry on a variety of ferrous and non-ferrous materials.
-Strong math application knowledge (Trig, Geometry, Etc.)
-Understanding of materials certifications, special processing documentation and compliance with AMS, ANSI, ASTM, ASME and other/customer specifications.
-Working knowledge of all measuring tools, gages and equipment, including application and utilization to accomplish dimensional verification and reporting of part geometry results.

-Working knowledge of ERP systems and Microsoft Office.
-Ability to work to strict deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
-Ability to stand and/or sit for 8 hours.

-Ability to utilize personal protective equipment (PPE) as needed.

-All Quality applicants must pass a pre-employment eye examination before date of hire.


High school diploma or equivalent and applicable vocational training classes
Minimum 3 years Inspection and/or Machinist experience in an Aerospace Manufacturing environment.
