Quality Control Inspector

Leading aerospace company is seeking a qualified QC Inspector to join our growing team. We pride ourselves in offering a family oriented environment and the opportunity for growth.
Organize, plan, and sequence work efficiently.
Attention to detail; ensure all paperwork and computer data have been completed accurately.
Examine aerospace parts, components, and/or assemblies for conformance with applicable drawings, specifications, quality requirements, workmanship standards, and interpretation of manufacturing plans.
Determine if discrepancies exist by obtaining information from multiple sources (e.g., drawings, BAC specifications, shop traveler)
.Perform complex layouts on forgings, castings, parts or assemblies in order to establish reference points and to check dimensions.
Read and interpret engineering drawings. Capable of visualizing a three? dimensional shape from a two? dimensional view, converting left? hand to right? hand views and understanding symbols, flag notes, general notes.
Firm understanding of ANSI Y14.5
Use mathematics including practical math, geometry and trigonometry
.Use various types of precision measuring tools.
Effectively communicate verbal information such as tie? ins and job related information.
Work with others as part of a team which includes giving and receiving feedback, assisting others in completion of tasks; possess interpersonal, listening, and participation skills.
At least 5 years of Quality experience in the Aerospace industry.
At least 5 years of experience reading and interpreting engineering, machine and/or tooling drawings.
At least 5 years of experience visualizing three? dimensional shapes from a two? dimensional view, converting left? hand to right? hand views and understanding drawing symbols, flag notes, general notes and geometric dimension and tolerances.
Experience working with and interpreting data from 3? D metro-logy systems
At least 5 years of experience using precision measuring tools, surface plate equipment, hardness and eddy current equipment to determine product acceptance based on drawing and specification requirements.
Experienced in documenting non conformance findings defining as is condition to specified requirements.
Experienced with completing first article inspection requirements per AS9102.
